Danfoss Inc. has reached a deal to move its North American headquarters to Baltimore Crossroads @ 95, becoming the fourth company to plant its flag at the northeast Baltimore County business park.

The company, now at 7941 Corporate Drive in White Marsh, has about 200 workers and is planning to expand its operations once at the new site.

The new 51,000-square foot building at 11655 Crossroads Circle, to be developed by St. John Properties Inc. and Somerset Construction Co., will cost $7 million and could be ready by March 2009. Danfoss is taking 46,120 square feet at the property.

"They had a need for space; the current space they're in now wasn't working for them," said Richard Williamson, senior vice president of leasing for St. John Properties.
